Erika faced a lot of criticism in the press, accusing her to have a queen-like character and false pride.
Comments from the fans right after the press event weren’t really niceeither and Toho is going to face a big problem now. More than 500people wrote their opinion on Toho’s movie site with comments like“That was foolish!” or “Looking at the event, I clearly have nointerest to watch the movie anymore!”. Later they had to disable thecomment function, because opinions like above didn’t stop coming andcoming. The homepage of her agency also gets flooded, making itinaccessible and impossible to reach at time. This also affects theother people working for the agency and increases the damage even more.
The Internet portal “biglobe” made a poll regarding the situation,with 82,4% saying that “There is no excuse!” and only 9,7% saying that“It’s excusable”. This clearly shows the overwhelming criticism againstErika.
