Top Right: K, South Korea star K just 14 months, has introduced three personal albums.
Interestingly of late, there are three versions of Only Human in Asia. First, there is K´s version sung and made popular through drama “A litre of Tears”, then there is a Cantonese version by Jason Chan from Hong Kong and lastly, just released on 13 June 2007 last week, Malaysian Idol 2, Daniel Lee´s Mandarin version, 躲不过 (Duo Bu Guo translated as Unavoidable) that is also the album title of Daniel Lee´s second album.

Relying on singing the theme song “Only Human” from “A litre of Tears” a drama popular in Hong Kong and Japan about Erika Sawajiri, a true story of a terminally ill patient, South Korea´s Prince of love songs K´s popularity also moved along with it. The new album “The Timeless Collection Vol.1” is his first change over to singing in English. Also featured are karaoke golden oldies such as “True Colors” and “Bridge Ove r Troubled Water. “Does he wish to become a veritable King of Karaoke songs?”
In July 2005, the new Korean star under the name of K entered into the Japanese market. From the time he released his first single “Over”, thereon, within a short period of 14 months, he has altogether rushed out 3 albums recording at a fast and furious pace, in concordance with his recording company´s confidence in K.
If he wishes to venture into the Hong Kong market, perhaps it will not come true!
In addition to singing golden oldies in English, a Japanese language album “Music in My Life” was released in the market 3 months ago. Recently K again has released his new work “The Timeless Collection Vol.1”. In comparison the earlier 2 albums, the biggest diference is the whole album is filled with old English Songs. From young, K has been influenced by Gospel and R&B type of black music, all along he likes to listen to American Pop songs. If you have the opportunity to enjoy his concert performance, you would know that he prefers to sing the songs of others.
